​**Now we have explained the visual size (volume) of your rubbish piles, and hopefully, this helps you to understand the size allowance for each collection, let’s take a look at the weight allowance for each collection cost**

So, if you literally had 8 rusty old washing machines to dispose of at home, they would weigh around 65 kg – 75 kg for each unit, so 12 x 70 kg (average of both) =560 kg (this is over the 4 cubic yard weight allowance of 300 kg for the 4 cubic yard collection) and would be charged at the nearest weight allowance bracket, in this case it would be the 8 cubic yard collection that has a 600 kg weight allowance costing £200 +vat

Remember really heavy items, like washing machines, pianos, soil, hardcore, and rubble will be charged by the weight and not the volume taken up on the truck, please check with us if your not sure! Most general waste will be totally within the weight allowances for each collection size… it’s just the really heavy stuff, that will affect those prices.

REMEMBER … THIS COST INCLUDES THE TEAM TO LOAD – YOU SIT BACK AND WATCH – BRICKS, BLOCKS, ROCKS, OR OLD SOCKS (Not so much the socks)
