We have a very long history since 2000 in collecting and reusing rubbish, we started recycling the very first waste streams way back in 2000 when the origins of this company were originally within the hard landscaping industry that dealt with the vast amounts of concrete, rubble, bricks, blocks and soil on a daily basis, recycling concrete for use in our projects along with screening and sterilising top soil for planting new lawns and flower borders. Nothing went to waste and was reused whenever possible! It just felt like the right to do as we was reducing our waste to landfill and producing our own high quality materials… and this was way before recycling really got going and people became more aware of avoiding Landfill.
In 2011 the passion for recycling waste become even stronger as I felt that I needed to play a bigger part in reducing more waste that was destined for landfill, especially with all the plastic waste that was increasingly hitting the headlines and so I started to collect all the plastic and cardboard from our many site deliveries to pass on to the local recycling centres along with wooden pallets that we passed onto our local waste transfer station to be recycled and began collecting and recycling concrete, rubble, bricks, blocks, soil, plastic and cardboard waste streams.

My vision
My vision to recycle and reuse grew stronger still in 2012 and so I started a very small rubbish collection and recycling service to run within my Landscaping business, this made sense as I needed a delivery driver to deliver our now over supply of hardcore and soil to my projects and take our collections of cardboard and plastic to the appropriate recycling centres to be re-used rather than the dump or just put into skips not knowing where it would be tipped (we was producing way more crushed concrete and soil than we could possibly use on site) and more and more of our projects involved using porcelain type paving that was packaged with large amounts of cardboard and plastic waste along with wooden pallets and now with this additional help the door was opened to also start collecting garden waste including shed clearances and green waste, collecting many different waste streams and building contacts to recycle or reuse the waste that we couldn’t use within the landscaping side of the business.
What was once a little recycling service has now grown from a simple ‘one man band’ type operation within a Landscaping company to a now fully dedicated and separate ltd company in its own right… and launched in 2019. And is now gaining great recognition and is rapidly spreading across London and the south east of the U.K.!
Our aim is to eventually cover the whole of the U.K with a small team in each postcode throughout the U.K. Each team dedicated to there own territory complete with Area manager contactable by WhatsApp/Text (to notify of any traffic delays or problems) along with a tidy sign written tipper truck and each staff member wearing our company branded work wear, arriving at each collection on time with a Shovel, Dustpan, Broom for those little bits left after clearing. So definitely no untidy staff in a unmarked van here! Only professional hard working teams ready to take on the hardest of clearance jobs.
From our basic origins now over 20 – years ago when we just recycling soil and rubble along a little plastic and timber waste – we now see and treat every single waste stream as a recyclable product, the collected waste is either donated, recycled and Plastic, wood, soil, Hardcore is separated and sent of to the various recycling plants for each individual waste stream, we try our Hardest to provide a NO LANDFILL policy its been our aim for the last 20 years, and is something that me and my teams are very proud about.

We value every staff member within the business, we are as one, we all help each other out, the teams are like small mobile Eco-warriors and they all understand the waste streams they are collecting.
They cover any holidays within the company and they meet up regularly to share there Junk collecting stories, we are like a big family, if someone is having a problem we encourage them to reach out and ask for help, weather that’s a quick chat, a meeting or an extra van sent for a particularly large load down to just extra pair of hands if the day gets tough with personal issues… there’s always someone there to listen or lend a hand, the support that keeps the business moving for everyone involved is in place and I’m very proud of that.
